Laser Hair Removal Results
I've seen people talk about laser hair removal, and show pics a day or two after their appointments, but no one's given it
too much time to get a realistic picture of what happens if you try to grow it out. So I decided as part of my laser hair removal to commit to not shaving for one week after each session (eight days total — since you shave the day before laser instead of the day of). The first week or two after each session has a LOT of hair still showing that has yet to fall out, so what you see in the pics is orders of magnitude more hair than what you get by week three. What this means is that the pictures show a
very exaggerated result of what my face actually looks like after laser. In reality, all the very short hairs in the pics (particularly face/neck) fall out permanently, whereas the longer ones are still active and growing.
THERE AREN'T ENOUGH PEOPLE DOING THIS — but if you do, it is IMPORTANT to note that you should shave normally for the first two weeks, and THEN avoid shaving for a week, for the most realistic results!!! And hey if you do, and want to share your results, shoot me a message on Discord or a DM on Twitter or a comment on TikTok or what have you and link me to your results and I'll be MORE than happy to link to them from here as well for everyone's reference. I've found Imgur is the best platform as it preserves the full-size images to their original resolution but also allows ease of download for those that want a closer look.
